The Yankees Save a man's life

Believe me, I'm not trying to make light of this crane collapse disaster. However, I can't help but comment on this quote from the owner of the bar whose establishment was crushed in this travesty:

"Our bar is done," he said. "The crane crashed the whole building. If I wasn't watching a Yankees game, I would've come to work early and gotten killed."

I am just relieved that the bar owner didn't read my blog post about the dog days of Spring Training this morning and decided to stay at home and watch the game.
